Are subscriptions right for you?

Headshots for actors can be a significant investment, but a vital one for your career’s success. In this digital world where submissions are normally online, casting directors decide whether they would like to see your audition, often based on your headshot alone. If your headshot is not up to par, is unprofessional, or doesn’t look like you, you may be disqualified from even having a chance to show them what you’ve got. Subscriptions may NOT be for all actors, however. There are strictly-enforced terms that go along with headshot subscriptions. So, how do you know if this is the right choice for you?

Acting Headshot Subscriptions are a GOOD choice for:

• Actors who intend to stay in the Orlando or Central Florida area for at least 1 year

• Younger actors who need to update their headshots frequently to accommodate growth and change

• Actors who tend to change their appearance (like hair cuts, etc.)

• Actors who have lots of types and need all of them represented

• Actors who want to stay relevant and “fresh” in order to capture the attention of casting directors, who often see the same actors over and over

• Actors who know they’re going to be doing this a long time and want to save on headshots

Subscriptions are NOT a good choice for:

• Actors who plan to move to Atlanta, NYC, or LA

• Actors who are doing this just for fun, and might not need lots of headshots

• Actors who like to work with lots of different photographers

FAQ:

Can I apply one subscription to multiple people (like siblings)?
No. Each subscription applies to one person only. For two siblings, two subscriptions would need to be ordered.

What happens if I can’t complete my subscription? Say I move away or my child stops acting?
I’m afraid that due to the nature of the discount with this session type, subscription orders are final and in the case that you cannot finish out your subscription, you will not receive a refund.
If you feel, for any reason, that there is a chance you won’t be able to fulfill your entire subscription, you should order a standard 1-time session and avoid subscriptions.

Does each session come with hair and makeup?
No, however, hair and makeup can be added on separately as needed.

How do we go about scheduling each session?
You can call us, or we will call you after 6 months. Sessions can be scheduled as far in advance as you like, with a 1-month advance notice strongly recommended.

Is there a grace period if I go beyond my subscription or forget to schedule?
Yes. There is a 2-month grace period to get all your headshots scheduled. For instance, if you buy a 1-year subscription, your subscription is good for 1 year and 2 months. After the subscription expires (and the grace period), you forfeit the remainder of your sessions and cost of the subscription. It is very important to set calendar reminders to get your sessions booked in time. We will also have reminders sent out via email in case you forget.

Can I fulfill the next session earlier than 6 months? For instance, can I do all of the included looks at once, or every 3 months instead of every 6 months?
No. These subscriptions are for 6-month increments only. There is a 3-week “wiggle period” with each session, so, AROUND every 6 months :)

How many final headshots do I get with each look?
These sessions are exactly the same as full-paid sessions. Each look comes with 2 final headshots with 30 to choose from. There is an option to buy additional images for $25each once you have had a chance to view your images.

Can I add on a look to any (or all) of each session? Let’s say I want to do 3 looks, but my subscription session only includes 2?
Yes. You can add on looks for $100 per look.
